Youth and online privacy: a cross-border study in the Basque Country Available to Purchase

Eneko Bidegain is a PhD in Basque Studies and History (UPPA and EHU-UPV), Lecturer in the Audiovisual Communication Degree at Mondragon Unibertsitatea and Member of its Hezikom research group. Previously, he has worked for many years as a Journalist in several media. His research focuses on Basque media and Basque identity. He has participated in research projects funded by the Association of Local Media in Basque, the Basque Government and the Groupment of Media in Basque.

Amaia Arroyo Sagasta is a PhD in Communication and Education on Virtual Environments (UNED), for which she obtained the extraordinary doctorate award in the 2016–2017 academic year. She is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences in Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Member and Researcher in KoLaborategia, the laboratory on education in the digitals, and Lecturer and Coordinator for the postgraduate degree HEZikt about digital skills in EHU-UPV. She has more than ten years of experience in teacher training in the pedagogical use of digital technologies, and she has also been a Lecturer in Nebrija University and UNIR Online University. Her research focuses on digital skills, learning environments, techno-pedagogical design and innovation on educational innovation.

Koldo Diaz Bizkarguenaga is a PhD in Sociology (EHU-UPV); he also attended the Summer Doctoral Program at the Oxford Internet Institute. He is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Anthropology Department at University College London and a Lecturer in the Department of Didactics and School management at EHU-UPV. His main research areas Basque identity, social media, digital ethnography and youth. He has published one book, ten book chapters and almost 20 ranked and indexed research articles.

Aitor Zuberogoitia is a PhD in Journalism (EHU-UPV), Co-coordinator of the Global Digital Humanities degree and Lecturer in the Audiovisual Communication Degree at Mondragon Unibertsitatea. His main research lines are media ethics, history of media in the Basque language and creativity and innovation in higher education. He has participated in research projects funded by Mineco (MediaACES project, CSO2015-66404-P), the Association of Local Media in Basque, the Basque Government and the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa. He is currently part of the FACCTMedia research project (PID2019-106367GB-I00).

Eneko Antón is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences in Mondragon Unibertsitatea and an external affiliated Researcher at Universidad Nebrija. He holds an international PhD in Linguistics by the University of the Basque Country, for which he gained a fellowship from the Basque Government, and he has more than seven years of experience in research in the field of education and psycholinguistics, in collaboration with national and international colleagues. His research expertise and interests are linked to bilingualism, neuroscience, education and psycholinguistics. As he has participated in several national and international studies and projects, as well as in different activities to disseminate science, he has presented his findings in numerous international academic conferences. Since 2014, he has published 12 research articles, eight of which as the first author, in highly ranked international journals.

Ixiar Rozas is a PhD in Visual Arts (EHU- UPV). She lectures in art education (Mondragon Unibertsitatea, MU) MA Learning Facilitation and Innovation (MU) and on the MA in Artistic Research and Creation (EHU-UPV). Her main research lines are voice theories, language materiality and performativity. She has published, among other books, Negutegia (2006, 2009), Beltzuria (2014, 2017), Ejercicios de ocupación. Afectos, vida y trabajo (2015, with Q. Pujol), Unisonoa (2020). Besides those, since 2012, she has published book chapters, ten research articles, eight of which as the first author, in ranked and indexed international journals. She has participated in research projects funded by Mineco/Feder (Teatralidades expandidas HAR2015-63984-P). She is currently a part of the ARTEA (UCLM) research group.
