Purpose and scope of the special issue 

This special issue aims to advance scientific knowledge on the Saudi Arabia’s non-profit sector by publishing original research that addresses emerging issues and priority trends. 

The issue seeks original research that moves beyond theory to explore technology's transformative impact on non-profit operations and organizations - from advanced technological governance architectures to capacity-development digital education platforms. 

The issue also seeks to strengthen knowledge accumulation through empirical case studies and provide a valuable academic reference to support the sector’s practices and developmental objectives.

Potential topics include: 

  • Digital Strategies in Governance and Management of Non-Profit Organizations

  • Digital Transformation and Its Role in Capacity Building and Human Capital Development in Non-Profit Organizations

  • The Role of Technology and Digital Transformation in Achieving Economic Development and Sustainability in the Non-Profit Sector

  • Submitted articles must not have been previously published, nor should they be under consideration for publication anywhere else while under review for this journal.
