Paola Scorrano, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Management in the Department of Economic Sciences at the University of Salento, Lecce (Italy), where she teaches production and logistics, digital strategy and tourism management. She also serves as the President of the Teaching Council for the Business Area within the department. Her research focuses on the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) on business behavior, particularly in the agri-food and tourism sectors, as well as on knowledge management and its role in fostering business innovation and competitiveness. She has authored numerous scientific publications and contributions on these topics, is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and industry forums, serves as a reviewer for several international journals and works as a consultant on projects funded by regional and European institutions.

Elena Borin is Full Professor in Business Administration at Pegaso Digital University (Naples, Italy), where she coordinates the Excellence Lab on Sustainable Innovation in Cultural and Creative Industries, Sectors and Ecosystems and serves as Rector’s Delegate for Internationalization. Previously, she was Associate Professor at Link Campus University in Rome (2021−2024), Director of the MSc in Arts and Cultural Management and Co-coordinator of the Research Team in Arts and Cultural Management (Burgundy School of Business, France). She has been a member of the scientific committees of several academic programs, scientific journals, congresses and international committees. Her research interests include cultural management and governance with an international comparative approach, funding for the cultural and creative sector, public-private partnerships and multistakeholder partnerships in the cultural sector and sustainability. She participates as a member of scientific committees in various international research networks in the field of sustainability and CCISs, among which she has been Vice-President of ENCATC – European Network on Cultural Management and Policy (Brussels-Belgium) since 2023.

Alkis Thrassou is a Professor at the University of Nicosia (Cyprus, EU) and holds a PhD from the University of Leeds (UK). He is the Director of Gnosis Mediterranean Institute for Management Science, the Chief Editor of Palgrave Intersections of Business and the Sciences, the Managing Editor of Palgrave Studies in Cross-Disciplinary Business Research, an Associate Editor of EuroMed Journal of Business and a Senior Research Fellow of the EuroMed Academy of Business. He has published about 300 scientific works in numerous internationally esteemed journals and books, and his works carry many thousands of peer citations. His is ranked #8 of “Best Business and Management Scientists” in Greece and Cyprus (combined), by Research.com (2024). He further retains strong ties with industry, acting also as a consultant, and holding the prominent professional qualifications of Chartered Marketer (FCIM) Chartered Construction Manager (FCIOB) and Chartered Management Consultancy Surveyor (MRICS).

Federica Cavallo, PhD, is Researcher (RTT) in Economics and Business Management at the Faculty of Economics and Law, Digital University Pegaso (Naples). Her research interest regards innovation, sustainability, knowledge management, digital marketing and new technologies useful for [re]defining strategies and business models, especially with reference to the tourism and agri-food sectors. She participates and presents her work at various conferences on these topics; she publishes in national and international academic journals and is reviewer for several journals.

Giovanni Mastroleo is Associate Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Economic Sciences, University of Salento, Lecce (Italy). His main research concerns fuzzy logic and expert systems applied to the fields of economic, financial, social and territorial analysis. He has published books and book chapters on these topics and his work has been published in international academic journals.
