The properties of air-entrained concrete under triaxial compressive loads with seven stress ratios were investigated. The strength and deformation in three principal directions were recorded and the crack patterns and failure modes were examined. Based on the test data, the influence of the stress ratio α1 = σ1:σ3 and the middle stress ratio α2 = σ2:σ3 on the ultimate compressive strength σ3 is analysed. The characteristics of the stress–strain relationship and the influence of intermediate principal stress on the peak stress and strain are analysed. The stress–volume strain relationships of air-entrained concrete under triaxial compression are discussed. This work will serve as a reference for the finite-element analysis and maintenance of air-entrained concrete structures in cold northern regions subject to complex load.
