The paper is a summary of test results on the utilization of tensile strength of glass fibres for the reinforcement of concrete members. Particular reference is made to shell structures, and the paper includes the results of preliminary investigations carried out on simpler structures, aimed at obtaining exploratory information on the behaviour of composites of concrete and glass fibre.
