A force-moment transducer which can measure all six components of the reaction at a support of a general skeletal structure subject to general loading has been developed in the Concrete Structures and Technology Section of the Civil Engineering Department of Imperial College. The details of the transducer and some of the difficulties encountered in its production are described.
