Observations obtained from tests on seventy-five reinforced concrete beams under combined bending and torsion are discussed in detail. The test results are studied in the light of a theory developed by the authors and good agreement is observed between theoretical and test results. The test results are useful for an understanding of the exact interaction between moments, and they bring out the influence of various factors upon the capacity of beams. Further, both tesl and theoretical results suggest that the interaction diagram varies with all the properties of beams.
