Tests of properties of fresh concrete Available to Purchase

A description is given of a deformability meter for studying the properties of fresh concrete which has been evolved at the Swedish Cement and Concrete Research Institute. Examples are adduced to demonstrate the effects produced by varying mixes and by the admixture of resins. The test results afford information on the tendency to segregation and the workability of the concrete. This information permits certain qualitative forecasts regarding the properties of hardened concrete.
