Summary
This paper gives a brief account of some long-term tests which were undertaken to determine the possible adverse effects of the use of calcium chloride as an admixture upon the reinforcement of concrete. It was found that, even after more than six years, there was no sign of corrosion attributable to the use of calcium chloride.
