The relationship between concrete strength and its maturity is examined and the datum temperature for maturity calculations determined. Strength-maturity results from varying sources are examined and a law stated relating the strength at any maturity to that at a given maturity. This law is shown to be independent of water/cement ratio, aggregate/cement ratio and cement quality. Examples of the uses of this law are given.
