Briefing: Determining productivity and safety indices using BIM Available to Purchase

This research project, funded by the Workplace Safety and Health Institute of the Singapore Ministry of Manpower, investigated the potential of incorporating productivity and safety using building information modelling (BIM) as the platform. An intelligent system, named Intelligent Productivity and Safety System, was developed to determine the productivity index and the safety index of a building using BIM technology, a buildable design concept and prevention and control of hazards detected in the BIM, and incorporating the Construction Safety Audit Scoring System.
