This issue presents a broad variety of topics: cameralist thought and public administration; a chronology of money;and, evaluation of the performance appraisal process.

I want to point especially to the chronology of money as an example of management historical time-lines which this publication wants to print.

In addition, we begin a new journal feature in this issue "Letters to the Editor". I hope that this section will provide readers with a forum to use to discuss/debate issues.
