In search of flexibility

Examines the need for flexible production planning for FMCG manufacturers, with particular reference to Scott, a paper tissue manufacturer. Discusses the planning problems in the industry, the previous system used, and the reasons for choosing the DEMON package. Concludes that the system has reduced timescales in planning operations,performing in two hours what previously took two days.
