In this work, lanthanum iron (III) oxide (LaFeO3)/reduced graphene (rGO)-based nanocomposites were synthesized using a chemical route. The as-prepared samples were subjected to calcination at 700°C. To classify their structural and morphological properties, the nanocomposites were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy. The findings showed that the nanocomposites obtained were 20 nm and had undergone diameter changes at 700°C after calcination. The XRD analysis revealed that the composites had a strong crystalline single-phase structure. In addition, the Voigt theory was used to compute elastic constants such as Young’s modulus (E), bulk modulus (K), shear modulus (G), Poisson’s ratio and linear compressibility. The computational structural characteristics of lanthanum iron (III) oxide perovskites were also examined. The microwave absorption properties of lanthanum iron (III) oxide/rGO nanocomposites made them appropriate for electromagnetic interference shielding usage.
