The method of rolling with shear in comb-shaped passes for a bar has been developed in order to create the conditions of severe deformation in the processed aluminum alloy. The method provides formation of a structural state with the controlled fraction of nanostructure. It is shown that rolling with shear results in intensive fragmentation of the structure and reduction of the anisotropy of the material properties at different sections of the billet, as compared to the conventional rolling. Reduced anisotropy of properties and an increase in the strength characteristics will allow to successfully apply AA1135 alloy-modified rolling shear in the energy sector.
