Purpose

This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of using digital banking on student’s impulsive buying behavior.

Design/methodology/approach

This research is quantitative research and the research method used in this research is purposive sampling using a questionnaire data collection tool in the form of Google Form and obtaining 150 students as respondents with the characteristics of digital banking users aged 18–25 years who live on the island of Java. For this research, the authors use data analysis methods in the form of descriptive statistics and regression analysis with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software.

Findings

The research results show that the variables tested have a positive or significant influence. So, it can be said that the use of digital banking has a positive effect on impulsive buying behavior.

Originality/value

This research focuses on discussing and analyzing the influence of digital banking, which focuses on intention to use on the impulsive buying behavior of students in Indonesia. Researchers focus their research in certain areas because these topics are still rarely discovered or researched.
