Cost-effective management of scour-prone bridges Available to Purchase

This paper discusses the nature of scour at bridge structures and reviews the available methods of assessing scour potential and the risk of failure. A management system based on the authors’ practical experience of bridge scour assessments is also proposed as a means of identifying this risk and minimizing it in an efficient and economic manner.
