Urbanwords is a project with the ambitious aim of recording the meanings and tracking the development of the words people use to talk and write about their urban environment. Since its publication in 2005, the Urbanwords project has continued to add entries; many of these have been posted on the online supplement (www.urbanwords.info), which can be accessed free of charge.
