Announcement: Award-winning paper in 2006

Papers published in Waste and Resource Management are eligible for awards from the Institution of Civil Engineers. Papers from any ICE journals can be nominated for several awards.

ICE President Quentin Leiper presented the award to the following paper selected by the awards committee chaired by John Burland.

The Telford Premium Prize, presented for the best paper on waste, was awarded to: de Oña J. and Osorio F. Using waste to reduce slope erosion on road embankments. Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Transport, 2006, 159, 1, 15–24.
