A note on uniform open channel flow in circular pipes

This paper presents a brief analysis of uniform open channel flow in circular pipes and introduces a dimensionless discharge parameter Q_*. When the pipe just flows full, Q_* becomes Q_*f which varies inversely with a modified Manning's n written as n_*. This relationship has been checked with experimental observations.
