How Green is Cybernetics? At a recent conference of systems and cybernetics a delegate asked: How Green is Cybernetics? No‐one was quite sure what the question really meant. Did it suggest that cybernetics as a multidisciplinary subject was not being used to the full to save the world's threatened environment or, perhaps, that cyberneticians and systemists were not researching into areas that could benefit our society?
