Communications and forum: Integrated‐circuit chip databases

Four approaches (relational, network, hierarchical, entity‐relationship) to integrated‐circuit chip database design are presented with illustrative examples. Integrated‐circuit chip databases appear to be a fertile field for further study. In addition, the study of integrated‐circuit chip databases may contribute to finding more effective and more efficient ways to design large‐scale digital systems, computers, and intelligent robots.
