Capacities, competences and capabilities as knowledge structures to build relational capital

Dr Juan Gabriel Cegarra Navarro (MBA, PhD) is a Professor of Strategic Management at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena of Spain, where he serves as Head of the Business Administration Research Group, as well. He is author of over 100 international publications on primary management journals like Journal Business Venturing and British Journal of Management. He is the Editor for Europe of the Journal of Knowledge Management. His research interests are on the use of knowledge management to help small and medium businesses to become more competitive.

Dr Eva Martínez-Caro is an Associate Professor of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (Spain). Her current research interests include the use of Information and Communication Technologies as support of knowledge management, technology-based learning environments and quality management. She has been engaged in several national and international research projects related with those topics. She has published in relevant international journals. She is actually responsible for quality at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena.

Dr Aurora Martínez-Martínez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena. Originally a CFO, she joined academia after completing her PhD in 2011. She is a guest editor of the Journal of Sustainable Tourism (JOST) and a member of the International Association for Knowledge Management (IAKM). Her research is focused on knowledge management, organizational learning and sustainability, and she has published in several top-ranking journals.

Dr María Dolores Aledo-Ruiz is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena and Collaborate Professor at Open University of Catalonia. She completed her PhD in 2017 and she has more than 15 years of experience in the industrial sector as a CFO. She has several publications in specialised journals and papers presented at International Congresses. Her research is focused on knowledge management, organizational learning, human resources and entrepreneurship.

Dr Eusebio Martínez-Conesa is an Adjunct Professor in Business Administration. He has 30 years of industrial experience in government company and 12 years as teacher at Universidad Politécnica de Cartagenaand belong to the Department of Business Economics at the Faculty of Business Sciences. His research line is focused in knowledge management and organizational learning.
