Moving Boundaries 2003 is the Seventh International Conference in the series on Computational Modelling of Free and Moving Boundaries. The conference will be held at the native American-owned Hotel Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
The meeting will look at the computational modelling of a continuum, where the positions of its borders or interphase boundaries have to be determined as part of the solution. The transient character leads to the so-called moving boundary problems, and the steady one to free boundary problems.
One of the main objectives of the conference is the establishment of interdisciplinary links between scientists and engineers who tackle similar problems from different research perspectives, and scientists who work on different applications but use similar numerical methods.
