The CPD subcategory will appeal to those members who wish to maintain and broaden their knowledge and skills systematically and to enhance their lifelong professional performance and to have that commitment recognised by others. Following a pilot study conducted earlier this year, the ALIA career development kit is now also available as a free membership benefit to institutional members of ALIA. Designed for senior managers, this staff development tool contains a workbook and a package of workshop resources to identify staff career development goals, training and skill development needs, and to assist senior managers in contributing to the ongoing job satisfaction of their staff.
