Introduces the Committee on Institutional Co‐operation and the principles upon which it is founded. Shows how this collaboration has been able to develop a successful electronic journal collection. Outlines the state of provision before the project and describes the attempts to address this including a predecessor to the collection. Pesents an overview of the system, its challenges and limitations.
