Purpose
To share and report information about the 72nd General Conference of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) held in Seoul, Korea.
Design/methodology/approach
A review of the conference.
Findings
The general theme of this year’s conference was “Dynamic Engines for the Knowledge Society,” and generated 382 conference papers, 85 poster sessions and involved a total of 424 speakers and presenters.
Originality/value
A report of interest to all information management professionals.
