Rafiq Ahmad has completed MPhil in Library and Information Science from the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Sargodha and has completed PhD in Information Management from the Institute of Information Management, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He has served as a Librarian at the Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for more than six years. He is currently serving the Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, as Librarian.

Muhammad Rafiq dr.rafiqm@gmail.com is based at the Institute of Information Management, University of the Punjab Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore, Pakistan. He is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Information Management, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He completed PhD in Library and Information Science. His key areas of interest include development of digital libraries, digital preservation, digital library usage, digitization, automation and institutional repositories. He has published numerous research papers in well reputed journals. He is also supervising a number of PhD and MPhil students at the Institute of Information Management, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
