Earlier this year the first major revision of the European model for business excellence was released in draft form by the European Foundation for Quality Management, the body responsible for managing the model Introduced as an ‘improved’ model the new formula contains several important changes affecting the established structure and scoring approach. The implications for the growing number of organizations which use the model for self assessment and benchmarking are explored in the following pages.
