MANAGEMENT JARGON EXPLAINED

NETWORK ANALYSIS The group techniques known collectively under the title of network analysis and comprising Programme Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), Critical Path Analysis (CPA), Programme Evaluation Procedure (PEP), Least Cost Estimating and Scheduling (LCES), were developed mainly for the complex and time critical projects carried out by the U.S. Armed Forces. The technique produces a sort of dynamic optimising of a current situation and recognises the basic interdependence of the component parts of any complex job.
