Company Law in the E.E.C. With the United Kingdom becoming a full member of the European Economic Community a considerable amount of legislative and administrative time will soon have to be devoted to the task of harmonising its legislation with the regulations of the Treaty of Rome. For the business community in the U.K. one of the important areas in this respect is that of company law—particularly so far as it relates to the auditing of company accounts and the requirements for disclosure of financial information therein.
