In the previous paper control was considered as a process at the level of the individual and the group. In this paper, it is intended to broaden the approach to control to consider the control of the total organisation within its environment. This is done by considering the financial control system as it is generally conceived, and offering a critique, before suggesting an alternative approach to control.
