The International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management, launching in 2008, seeks to serve as a central repository for research in this field, bridging the interests of scholars and practitioners and brings the results of research and product development to the attention of the international financial and business management community.
The journal will publish
Research articles which provide in-depth insight and analysis into current issues within Islamic and Middle Eastern finance and management.
Issue- or results-focussed case studies illustrating research and product developments, and instances of best practice.
Dedicated sections on news, new products and market/sector reports,in order to provide broad coverage of all pertinent topics.
An overview of the latest literature in the field through extended book reviews.

Fundamentals of Islamic Finance
Regulatory structures
Shariah-compliant investment, insurance and risk management
Branding opportunities for Shariah-compliant products
Islamic social thought and corporate governance
Management styles and strategies in Shariah environments

Sukkuk, Zakat and financial planning
Hedge funds and derivatives
Housing finance and Shariah-compliant mortgage products
Market penetration in non-Islamic contexts
The Editor now invites contributions for potential publication in the second volume of the journal. Articles should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words in length and should adhere to the journal’s submission guidelines.
