I was at a meeting recently to discuss priorities around mental health promotion and social inclusion. It quickly became clear that there were two ‘camps’ in the room. One was keen to see that mental health promotion activities engaged with the mental wellbeing of the whole population ‐ not just the needs of people who have a diagnosed mental health problem.
