The trend towards a ‘healthier’ diet in Britain is continuing with increased consumption of low‐fat milk, vegetables and wholemeal bread, while fruit juice consumption is at its highest level ever, according to the figures from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food's National Food Survey, published recently.
