Recently the Microwave Association held a three day conference which attracted delegates from throughout Europe and also from America, Canada and Japan. Various speakers predicted the growing importance of the microwave oven and one speaker, Harry Gardner, Vice‐president of sales and marketing of Pressware International, Ohio, spoke about the practical applications of biodegradable packaging of ready prepared, microwaveable foods. These were some of the points he made.
