Encouraging Young People to Make the Healthier Choice: West Birmingham Health Authority Healthy Lifestyles Campaign

Hazel Harden
For her work in encouraging young people to make healthier food choices, Hazel Harden was awarded first prize in the 1993 Domestos Health Education Awards. She received a cheque for £1,000 at the awards presentation ceremony from former Olympic champion and MP for Falmouth and Camborne, Sebastian Coe OBE.

Looks at the launch of a healthy eating campaign in Holyhead School,Birmingham. The project aimed to encourage pupils to choose healthier options which were available at lunch‐time.
