ECCA'S summer polls - falls and hydration

The English Community Care Association (ECCA) has published the latest results of its poll on “falls prevention”.

They are also undertaking a poll on the availability of drinking water in care homes. The poll reads:

• 1.

  only available when requested;

• 2.

  available throughout all communal rooms;

• 3.

  only provided at meal times;

• 4.

  fresh water jugs placed throughout the building, including bedrooms.
