On‐line information systems Comparison of COMPENDEX, INSPEC and NTIS search files via LMS/Dialog, SDC/Orbit and SDS/Recon

The fast development of on‐line systems is increasing the number of difficulties a user can encounter. The paper studies the problem of searching a file for which access is provided by several systems. The particular cases of searching COMPENDEX, NTIS and INSPEC files via the systems: LMS/Dialog, SDC/Orbit and SDS/Recon are explained and compared.
