Welcome to Volume 36, Issue 3 of Policing: An International Journal of Police Strategies & Management. This particular issue features empirical research on a series of topics that should have broad appeal to academics and practitioners. For example, papers in this issue focus on problem-oriented policing strategies, police corruption, occupational and workplace stress and burnout, public opinion of and satisfaction with the police, and gun violence prevention. Also, pay close attention to the meta-analysis on “Police officer perceptions of occupational stress: the state of the art” as this paper provides a comprehensive and methodologically rigorous source for up-to-date information on this important topic in policing research. In addition, there is an international paper as well that involves a comparative study on police governance in England & Wales and the Netherlands.

We hope that you find this issue appealing and informative, and, as always, we would like to encourage you to submit your own research to the journal when relevant.
