Until recently UV‐cured coatings have been limited to flat objects and where the finish is either clear or lightly pigmented thin‐film coatings. Therefore, a paper presented recently at a U.S. Air Pollution Control Association meeting in Minneapolis would indicate that we may well see a considerable expansion in the use of UV coatings.
