A new literature pack has been produced by Ascott Analytical Equipment, which describes the company's new generation of high quality corrosion test cabinets.

Contained in an attractive folder, the pack includes detailed four-page data sheets with comprehensive technical specifications, on Ascott Analytical's latest test cabinets, all of which are available in cyclic corrosion, salt spray and humidity testing variants and offer capacities of 1,000 litres, 450 litres and 120 litres.

The latest in the Ascott range is the 120 litre cabinet - a neat, compact bench-top unit for testing small samples or for use in laboratories with limited space. This complements the recently introduced 450 litre and 1,000 litre models which are of a streamlined "high tech" design, in keeping with modern materials testing facilities.

All Ascott corrosion test cabinets are quality engineered to ensure a long working life and have an ergonomically designed top-mounted control and display module for "at-a-glance" setting and checking of control parameters. Added to this, they each feature a graduated sight glass for ease of monitoring solution levels and a large capacity salt solution reservoir - this is in removable cassette form on the 120-litre version and as a mobile tank on the other two models.

The salt spray and cyclic corrosion cabinets also incorporate an innovative salt for remote fall-out system - called "Catchpots". This feature allows salt spray to be collected and measured continuously without the need to open the cabinet roof and interrupt a test.
