Herberts renamed DuPont Performance Coatings

As part of the ongoing integration of the Herberts Group into the US chemical company DuPont, Wuppertal-based Herberts GmbH & Co. KG has been renamed DuPont Performance Coatings GmbH & Co. KG.

On the same day, Bonn-based DuPont Automotive Coatings GmbH & Co. KG was merged with the company and is now part of DuPont Performance Coatings GmbH& Co. KG.

DuPont and Herberts was acquired from Hoechst AG by DuPont as of 1 March,1999. The coating activities of DuPont and Herberts have been combined in the new strategic business unit, DuPont Performance Coatings.
