Warm sunshine this afternoon; colder from tomorrow…

Keywords: Grant Instruments, Temperature control

Most analytical instruments require a constant temperature just a degree or two below ambient to deliver consistent results. But "ambient" in many laboratories varies significantly from season to season, sometimes from day to day.

Grant believes that even if you cannot rely on the weather, you can take control with its LVF6. The LVF6 claims cost-effective and accurate temperature control between 5°C and 99°C, with a stability of ±0.1°C. The sturdy built-in pump has a maximum flow rate of 16L/min, making the LVF6 ideal for connection to all kinds of analytical instruments – viscometers, refractometers, spectrophotometers and electrophoresis systems for example. And the LVF6's powerful cooling capacity – 300W, extraction @ 20°C –is said to ensure fast equilibration to the set temperature.

The LVF6 is manufactured in Cambridge, England in Grant's extensive IS0 9002 facility. All Grant products are stated to be CE compliant and backed by a comprehensive three year guarantee.
