Sole distributor for Chemergi metallic stearates

Chemicals marketing and distribution company. Chance & Hunt Limited, has been appointed sole distributor of the Chemergi range of metallic stearates for the UK paints, coatings and inks markets. Chemergi is a leading UK producer of metallic stearates.

Chance & Hunt has been chosen to facilitate entry into new market sectors. The Chemergi range, which can be used as flatting/matting agents in paints, inks and coatings, has been integrated into Chance & Hunt's growing portfolio of products aimed at these markets.

Chance & Hunt sales into the paints and coatings sector were given added focus last year with the appointment of Ken Heaton as market manager. Commenting on this latest development. They have 30 years experience in manufacturing metallic stearates, which are available in a range of powder and non-dusting forms and have recently embarked on a,E600,000 investment programme, which includes a new calcium stearate plant.
