Hodge Clemco, best known for blast cleaning equipment and abrasives, paint spray installations to its product range under a joint marketing agreements with the US manufacturer JBI Booths Inc.

The American company, founded in 1975, is a specialist in its field in the USA, and its equipment is widely used in the transportation and aerospace industries for painting aircraft, railway rolling stock, buses, agricultural and construction equipment, boats and other large items.

JBI equipment is reported to include a number of advanced systems for overspray capture, VOC suppression and other factors, in order to meet current and anticipated environmental standards. Under the agreement between the two companies, JBI will design the installations and provide the technical expertise, while Hodge Clemco will manufacture, install and service them.

For smaller-scale painting requirements, Hodge Clemco is continuing to offer its Enviraclean range of standard spray booths, introduced two years ago.
