During the past 12 months Elcometer Instruments have introduced to the U.K. market two important new non‐destructive thickness measuring gauges for measuring non‐magnetic coatings on a ferro‐magnetic substrate. They are the Elcometer Model 255F microprocessor coating thickness gauge, which allows readings to be made to an accuracy of ±2%, and the Elcometer Model 145 electronic thickness gauge, which has an accuracy of ±5%.
