Metron Ltd is one of the success stories of industry in the South West and for the sheet metal industry. Formed by John and Peter Beaven in 1972 at small premises in Calne, Wiltshire, to manufacture sheet metal products for the electronics industry, in January 1983 they moved to a new purpose built factory on the Porte Marsh Road Industrial Estate, Calne.
