Essochem Europe has issued a technical leaflet in four languages (English, French, German and Italian) entitled ‘New Opportunities in Low Temperature Extrusion Coating’. The article describes the advantages of using Escor bonding polymers for extrusion coating onto aluminium foil high barrier substrates. This is of particular importance to end users involved in the packaging of sensitive foodstuffs such as fruit juice. Escor bonding polymers show high adhesion to foil over a broad range of application conditions, and the coatings exhibit very low odour and off‐taste.
