The new PosiTector 5000 coating thickness gauges now offered by Sheen Instruments are justifiably described as “unique”. This is because they are the only low cost gauges that can measure coatings on ferrous and non‐ferrous substrates using the same probe. For this reason they are expected to make a strong challenge to traditional two‐probe instruments currently available.
